Need to see your --: Surgeon, and have him reevaluate you. Nonunion is not diagnosed after 7-8 weeks. It probably is a delayed union. So he might need to keep you in a cast till it heals. Its too early to label it as nonunion. You might need a bone stimulator for about 8-12 weeks, to promote healing. Resurgical fixation might be helpful. If not getting anywhere then you might consider a 2nd opinion. Good luck.
