Know your consulates.

More details needed!: Yes, Asia is too generic. Different countries have different diseases sometimes, Even different parts of the country may have different outbreaks. A good resource for anyone is the CDC. Here's the recommendation for Japan: https://wwwnc.cdc.gov/travel/destinations/traveler/none/japan Compare it with other countries you plan to visit.
