? infection: is there any redness, swelling or discharge? if not, maybe some warm compresses would help, if no improvement check with your doctor

Pain can be expected: Pain can be expected for up to 4-6 hrs after ear piercing. If there’s ongoing pain after that then it’s probably infected and you need to see a doctor
