Peroxide: Most commercial ear piercing places give out (or sell) a cleaning solution that contains hydrogen peroxide. That is probably fine but warm water is probably just as good by gently using a q-tip. Rubbing alcohol can be used too in the same fashion. If you are having problems then you should remove the ear ring and see a doctor.
