Toe injury: Cleanse with warm water and soap.Pat dry. Apply an antibacterial ointment like bacitracin. Cover with gauze and provide adequate padding. Keep padding between the 4th and little toe. Avoid tight footwear. White cotton Sox are prefe. See your physician if pain, redness, swelling increases. Fractures of the little toe are not treated any differently,but an xray can be done for informational purposes
