I personally: would not use a STEROID (Such as Celestamine) for your son's problem. A Nasal Spray (suggest SALINE ("Ocean Spray") may help the blockage AND clearing that blockage will help the Ear drain properly as well! Hope this is helpful! DR Z

Congestion : Saline nasal drops may help to unblock and an oral antihistamine such as Claritin may also help. Good Luck
