Hi, i was recently told i have genital herpes but was not tested. i think its coming to an end but i started my period. so my question is how will i know if the outbreak is over?

Resolution of herpes: Most Herpes outbreaks last about 7-10 days although a first outbreak can sometimes be worse. Most patients are well aware of when the outbreak is present due to the discomfort. Generally when the discomfort and blisters start to resolve one knows the outbreak is coming to and end.
