Anticholinergics: I have found that dicyclomine is an effective substitute for probanthine. Discuss this with your physician who knows the reason you're taking probanthine. Your pharmacist can also be helpful in answering your question.

See below: Difficult to suggest a specific alternative to probanthine without knowing what you take it for. Most often used in the past as treatment of GI problems (IBS, ulcer), urinary problems (urgency, incontinence), and excessive sweating (hyperhidrosis). In the U.S., Hyoscyamine would be the closest alternative with very similar properties. Menograine contains clonidine: very different than probanthine.
