There are a number: of dermatological as well as infectious disease diagnoses that could cause recurrent abscesses. In addition there are immune deficiency disorders besides diabetes that could contribute to the problem. You need to see a health care provider for evaluation and testing to exclude these potential diagnoses.

Immunity may be down: for other reasons. If these are under your arms, you may have glands that are getting blocked and would require some antibiotics. If hairs are ingrown, this could also cause the problem. Apply warm compresses and see a clinic if these abscesses need to be drained.
