Not especially: If an ulcer is diabetic , it usually requires medical attention as the origin is usually vascular. As such , consultation with a diabetic or skin specialist is best.

NOthing: Do not do anything to your abscess except see your doctor immediately, and then follow their instructions exactly to avoid losing a limb!
