I am a diabetic and use metformin (1x1000mg twice daily), gliclazide sr 30mg (2xtablets twice daily) and humilin 30/70 (25 units twice daily) i recently found out that my liver is severely compromised. would it be ok to stop using pills and only cont?

See your doctor: For type 2 diabetes, it is usually helpful to use insulin mainly as a supplement to the oral medications. Whether it's safe or advisable to discontinue oral diabetes medications requires a detailed assessment of your medical history.
