A member asked:

I'm allergic to meloxicam because it's a sulfa drug can i still take over-the-counter ibuprofen??

A doctor has provided 1 answer

OK: Ibuprofen is not a sulfa drug. If you are allergic to sulfa drugs but you are not allergic to non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), you should be OK taking over-the-counter ibuprofen.
