Leave it alone: These pop up from time to time for no reason. Cancer wouldn't appear nearly this fast. The average med student in their early 20's has three palpable lymph nodes in the head and neck. If it becomes preposterously large, or gets very hard, or is stuck to your jawbone, then get seen. Best wishes.

Not serious: There is some focus of inflammation in your mouth, may be as simple as tooth decay that is causing a lymph gland to enlarge. You may wish to see a dentists about your oral health. Regarding the gland, you can watch and wait. You may feel the node every couple of weeks, if the lymph gland doubles in size, becomes painful, ulcerates, or other nodes become enlarged, or you develop fever, or lose weight, you should see a doctor.
