Test for H Pylori: Chronic infection with H. Pylori is strongly associated with abnormalities on upper endoscopy, including erosions "gastritis" and ulcers. if your serology is negative, then this diagnosis is unlikely. A string test for H. Pylori may also identify an ongoing H. Pylori infection.
