Time to see doctor: If one has very uncomfortable tummy pain, and is normally in good health, plus is not pregnant, the possibilities include: appendicitis (usually R lower abdomen), diverticulitis, kidney stone (very painful), constipation (crampy), stomach flu, etc. Most people with "moderate pain," more than mild pain, may need a doctor's evaluation. Middle-aged (or older) adults may have an aneurysm that pulses.

Maybe cholelithiasis: The gallbladder (GB) stores bile on its way from the liver to the intestine. 2 hrs after eating, digested food moves from stomach to intestine and ANY fat at all signals GB to contract mixing bile with fat to break it down. A GB stone can block this action causing right upper abdominal pain that radiates into back, nausea, bloating, vomiting, and sometimes light clay-colored stools that float.
