Possible neuroma: You could potentially have a neuroma. An irritation of the nerve that runs in between your metatarsals. This could transfer pain from the ball to the toes. A plantar plate tear is another possibility. This is a tear of the ligament that connects those metatarsals. An MRI of your foot would be a huge help. Both are treatable conditions and can include padding, injections or surgery.
