An empty/hollow feeling in upper abdomen with what feels like something is flip flopping. when i point to where the feeling is its right below my xiphoid process. i feel this even when i'm not hungry but food does suppress this for a few hours.

Stomach discomfort: Is this new? May be just hunger pangs or may be gastritis /reflux( though usually food may makes it worse) . with or without H pylori a bacteria. or esophagitis or gallbladder, though usually food does make that worse. Antacids like Maalox, ranitidine Prevacid may help . For H pylori you need antibiotics. for gallbladder need ultrasound to diagnose. f/u/ w/ doc
