A member asked:

Is breast cancer that has spread to the lymph nodes cureable?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Absolutely!: Lymph node (ln) involvement implies the presence of cancer cells "elsewhere" in the body. Therefore, the chance for cure is dependent on one's ability to kill these cancer cells thru a combination of chemotherapy & one's immune system. Fortunately, we have many effective drugs to rx breast ca, leading to improved cure rates as compared to even a decade ago. Ln involvement is not a death sentence.
