Wt gain - hormones: There can be weight gain in response to hormonal changes. Other symptoms of menopause can include hot flashes, night sweats, & fatigue. Emotional symptoms can include mood swings, irritability, anxiety, depressed mood, panic attacks and difficulty concentrating. There can be vaginal dryness, v sex drive, insomnia & hair loss.
