NUT midline: carcinoma is a rare neoplasm that can occur in the mediastinum of the chest. There are no specific imaging features. Mediastianal tumors, due to their central location and superimposed normal structures, can be notoriously difficult or impossible to see on a chest xray. If they are large enough, they can be seen on chest xray, but a chest xray would never be able to rule out smaller tumors
