Difference: We all feel depressed or down from time to time. Clinical depression lasts at least 2 weeks.Symptoms of depression can include: feeling sad, irritable or angry. There can be a decrease in sex drive. Energy level & motivation levels may drop. One may socially isolate or stop involvement in normal activities. Sleep may increase or decrease. How do you know?: ...depressive symptoms are characteristically presented as losing interest on the things that used to motivate you, losing interest on how you look, sadness that is uncontrollable, irritability, avoiding social interaction and thoughts of that life is not even attractive to be continued..if you ever feel this way you should contact your doctor be evaluated by psychiatrist or started on medication
