Some thoughts below: Dry mouth can result from using some of the medicines. This is often the case after taking anticholinergic drugs such as antihistamines, like Benadryl(often used as a sleep-aid, or decongestants for treating common cold. The solution is either to reduce the amount of any such drugs being used or stop it. You can also use saliva producing aids like Lemon drops, hard candy or chewing gum for relief.
