I have recently started lifting weights again but since starting again my lower back is in constant pain. its almost like something moved or shifted.

Warm up/cool down: you would be better off taking 1 week off from the weight and doing warm up and cool down stretching You will be better off doing multiple reps with lighter weights and avoid bending or hinging at the hips. Consult a personal trainer.
