Diagnosed with hypothyroid hashimotos during 5-6months postpartum,how to clarify whether its postpartum thyroid or life long i need to tak thyroid tab?

Postpartum: If the hypothyroidism was the result of postpartum thyroiditis there is a strong likelihood that your thyroid status will return to normal after a year or so. A thyroidologist or endocrinologist is best qualified to evaluate, advise and treat you as well as follow-up through the years.
