Knee replacement 2 yrs ago walk with shuffle now slowly worse ,female 70,s .i have lost movement in legs ,bladder and bowels leg spasm in 1week. had pain like pluersy for mths .now in spine ward hospital mri ok small abnomalies on spine....infection?

Good: It is good that you are being looked after on a spine ward as symptoms point to something damaging or putting pressure on the spinal cord or the nerves exiting the spinal cord. A chronic infection could be the cause but it could also be a disc problem, bony overgrowth in the spinal canal, etc. The most important thing is that you are in the right place and a proper work-up has begun.
