A member asked:

My glucose level was 6.4 before meal in the morning. is it high? do i have diabetes ?

Get formal testing: One test value is non-diagnostic, and also please confirm the units of measurement. However, in general: Above 5.5 mmol/L is considered mildly high and you should get formal testing done. If the measurement is in mg/dL, over 110 mg/dL is considered high enough to get additional testing done. A side note - this is a fasting glucose, which we interpret differently than after meal glucose.
