I have a boil on my inner thigh and it popped about 3-4 days ago. however recently for about the last 2 days the wound has been bleeding profusely, no pus, just blood. i've been putting a bandaid on it so i could endure going out the day. ?

Vascular erosion: Abscess may have eroded into Saphenous Vein and will not stop without Surgical attention. Go to ER ASAP iN THE MEANTIME PLACE A COMPRESSION BANDAGE on it

Saphenous vein bleed: Saphenous vein comes up medial thigh to enter sapheno femoral junction. Just prior to entry, vein is close to skin and a wound over the vein will continue to bleed Eventually venous compared to arterial bleeding will slowly diminish and stop. A pressure dressing over the site should help induce the permanent clot. If skin defect noted, wound can be packed with Vaseline gauze.
