I'm 36 y/o & have had 4 or 5 inner ear infections this year. my doc has suggested i get grommets. what are the pros & cons. also have nasal polyps with about 5 ops over a 15 year period?

Inner ear infection!: you probably meant 'middle ear infections' and Grommet tubes are meant to ventilate /drain the middle ears in case the Eustachian tubes are blocked. You also have nasal polyps that were surgically removed 5 x before, all this points towards chronic inflammation, ? allergic, in your upper airways, kindly see an allergist, if you have access to one, Grommets will just be temporizing, good luck
