I have had a painful and hard lump on my bottom lip for just under a week. it has not changed size etc and i suspect i have gotten it by biting my lip. i had another smaller one which has gone now but i'm still worried. what should i do? thanks!

Fibroma: Hello, it sounds like you have developed a fibroma from the trauma of biting your lip. Avoid further trauma as best as possible and visit your ENT physician. Sometimes a steroid injection can be given but reassurance and observation usually allows these to resolve without any further treatment needed.
