A member asked:

53/f (no smoking & alcohol)-is it common or rare to face digestive problems (diarrhoea, indigestion) after laparoscopic cholecystectomy?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not uncommon: It is not uncommon for such patients to note changes in their digestive system. Of concern would be severe discomfort, tenderness at operative site, fever or sweats, or wound inflammation, presence of jaundice, clay colored stools or brownish urine.
