Tollerance: Xanax is a benzodiazepine and like alcohol your body develops a tollerance.

Benzodia dependent: Benzodiazepines are used fir anxiety and insinúa very effective in short term therapy. But as the majority of chemicals that affect the central nervous system such as narcotics, ancyolitucs, and barbiturates, these drugs have tremendous ability to lose efficacy and develop dependency and their addicitve potential is extremely high. Unless Rx by psychiatrist treating psychosis it’s best short term
