Nope: It doesn't happen, except perhaps if the exposed/tested person was on anti-HIV treatment during or after exposure (pre- or post-exposure prophylaxis). The term "with reflex" is meaningless. That simply means the lab automatically does confirmatory testing if the initial result is positive. But a negative test is 100% reliable any time after 6 weeks. After that, repeat tests are a waste of money.
