Pregnancy ?: Six months is the average time it generally takes to become pregnant, but the first steps are to make sure your wife has open tubes, and you have an adequate sperm count. A gyn provider should be able to order tests for both. Most "infertility" is secondary to obstructive tubal disease. There are many remedies for other kinds of fertility problems.
