Allergic reaction?: Generalized itchy rashes can occur with allergic reactions to foods, antibiotics and insect stings. If you have associated shortness of breath, throat closure or dizziness, call 911. Mild allergic reactions can improve with an antihistamine like Claritin, Zyrtec or Allergic. Visit a dermatologist or allergist if problems persist.
