Evaluation: Generally we avoid supplements that are unproven to be effective and that have not been tested during pregnancy. Your symptoms of sore throat, congestions, body aches could indicate step throat, flu, allergic rhinitis and many other things. Get evaluated by your doctor so that an accurate diagnosis can be made first before taking medication

Don't take it.: There is no evidence that it works, so save your money. Also, when pregnant, avoid all meds or supplements not recommended by your doc. Why take chances?
