Early Delivery: Picking up problems is the reason for pre-natal care. If baby's growth is lagging and the amniotic fluid is low, you may need an early delivery. Many Obs will follow the umbilical doppler for a decision on timing. Most of the time we obs don't know the reason for the change but we do know what to do about it! Unless you are a smoker or drug abuser, you probably didn't do anything wrong.
