A member asked:

I was told that my amniotic fluids where low and i'm a full term pregnancy should i be worried? i am also not dilating what should i do.

Maybe: It depends on the number. If your fluid is low enough, your OB will probably consider an induction. If it's borderline and the rest of the testing is ok, you can go a little while longer. While it's preferable for you to start dilating on your own, there are several reliable ripening agents that can help. Talk to your OB and voice your concerns. Keep monitoring your baby's movements.
