Give it time: Keflex (cephalexin) is generally effective for ear infections but be sure to continue taking it until its all gone. Don't stop the antibiotic just cause you feel better. There's always the chance that your infection is caused by an organism that isn't sensitive to Keflex but most are and if you're not better in a week your doctor would try a different antibiotic.
