what are common signs of a sleep disorder?

Many possibilities: I would say anything that creates a lack of sleep. There are many types of disorders and each has its own set of symptoms. If you give a list of symptoms perhaps you could get a better idea of what you might have. Otherwise i would sugest seeing a sleep specialist.
