A member asked:

What are the most common effects on the brain, including mood disorders, sleep, etc in a person using crystal meth for 9 months?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Mood instability: Stop now before you create permanent changes, which can happen with chronic use. Abstinence often starts with both craving and a desire to sleep a lot. Once the fatigue is past, if it's only been 9 months, things should head back to normal. Expect some irritability at first. Just don't be tempted to treat that with meth!
