Ob-Gyn doctor helps: If a couple has been trying to get pregnant by having sex once or twice a day during the fertile days (mid-cycle days) for at least 9 months, without success, then they can ask their Ob-Gyn doctor to evaluate for infertility problems. Such problems are common, and there are treatments available. For more specialized treatment, a reproductive endocrinologist or fertility specialist can also help.

PCOS: If PCOS is accurate, your cycles are not usually regular. Ovulation induction is certainly possible, but first discuss with your gyn provider about getting a hysterosalpingogram, which can establish that your tubes are open. Then get a referral to a gyn endocrinologist to use techniques to induce ovulation.
