This question must: be answered by your benefits advisor at your insurance company, you say it's Discovery, and the office staff at your current OB's office. Perhaps, if she/he is not included in your plan, some type of exception can be made. Or you will have to change. HealthTap, a public health information site, has no knowledge of these individual situations and can not/should not advise. Good luck!

Anytime: You are allowed to change your gynecologist anytime you desire. I would suggest that you explain to your present gynecologist that you need a physician who is partnered with Discovery and than your present physician may be able to assist you with the switch. I wish you well with your health!
