Uti and bm: Good question! Since your bladder and rectum are close to each other, a uti will cause irritation to your bladder give you the sensation of needing to urinate again after you've already done so. It is possible your rectum can be irritated, too. Have your PCP check you out. If he starts you on antibiotics, check in the rectal irritation resolves when the uti resolves. If not, may need GI consult.
