My little sister wiped back to front after a bowel movement. i made sure to clean her good immediately after with wiped. can she still get a uti?

Yes: The best hygiene is to wipe from front to back. However, wiping from the rectum could spread bacteria and cause a urinary tract infection, though rare. Observe for fever, emesis, dysuria (pain with urination). Let an MD know if these symptoms occur.
