Ibuprofen/Lexapro: There is no contraindication from taking both together, given that you do no have other medical concerns (gastric ulcer, etc). If your cramps are debilitating, you might consider asking your gyn provider about low dose oral bc, which can control the hormonal components of your menstrual cycle, and significantly diminish cramping.

Ibuprofen 800 mg. is an appropriate dosage for moderate to severe musculoskeletal pain. Should be safe with Lexapro. I would recommend not exceeding this dose daily, for any length of time. Try to limit to 200 mg., 2-3 times per day as needed.
