Premature birth: MAY be useful information for your health care practitioners. Please tell them and if they have further questions relating to your birth they will then have the opportunity to ask. Family reaction to the event may be more of an issue than the physical factors. Peace and good health.

Premature birth may: cause long-term disabilities including attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), anxiety, cerebral palsy, educational struggles, visual and hearing problems, heart and respiratory problems. The impact should be evident by now but sometimes do not show up until adulthood. An evaluation would assess current health. Best regards for good health.
