I have what looks like a circular ring shaped (the inside is fine) bruise where the butt meets the thigh that can be painful, itchy, and scaly.

Need photo: A photo tells a thousand words. A bruise is not itchy. Scaling skin lesion could be a benign AK. Best to get a photo or see your doctor for diagnosis.
