Diurnal changes BP: Blood pressure continues to rise during the day and is closely related to mental & physical stress. Other factors affecting BP are: exercise, meals, alcohol, caffeine, nicotine, and timing of medication. During sleep, BP is lower and disturbed sleep increases the BP. Hope it is helpful. Ambulatory monitoring can be useful.

BP variation: BP change every beat. Because of control systems certain each part of body gets right amt of blood each beat. If on BP meds these may affect the BP related to when taken. Be certain you are taking 3 bps each time & average last 2. It is the running average that is important. Can be affected by what u eat, drink, exercise & stress. Keep diary of everything & BP & share with team. Do DASH diet.
