Morning after pills: The pill you took is like a regular oral contraceptive pill, and other than not being a reliable way to avoid pregnancy, will not produce any significant side effects except for perhaps mild spotting when they wear off. If you miss your period, get a serum HCG test about 10 days after the period is due to see if you are pregnant.
