I recently had a colonoscopy. everything was fine, but the doc thinks i have a cyst on my appendix. i have to have a scan. should i worry?

Cyst: If further imaging is diagnostic of an appendicial cyst, an abdominal surgeon should be consulted for options. He/she will review the images with the radiologist and then make recommendations to you. Cysts are often benign and not always operated on, but should be followed by a specialist in that area.
